Over the years of coaching, I have been surprised about one thing consistently NOT being done that can make or break long-term relationships with new patients.
Some practitioners tend to overlook the power of reviewing the stages of care with their patients. You need to make sure you do not skip this important stage. When you review your patient’s steps of care, not only does it inform them about their current state of health, but it also encourages them to seek long-term care with you.
If you are not educating, and informing your patients about the three stages of care they will go through in your clinic, then you are missing out on a HUGE piece of patient education.
Not only does this very important topic help pacify your patient’s inquisitive mind, but it also encourages them to seek long-term care at your clinic, and make you their go-to acupuncturist.
With my patients I go through the three stages of care: Relief, Corrective and Maintenance care.
